I was tired of hot sauces that only set my tongue on fire without adding anything to the food. So I turned back to the flavor from my childhood

This recipe came from my mom, and she learned it from her husband’s (my dad’s) mother (my grandma), so every jar is a piece of our family tradition that I’m sharing with you.
My hot jam adds depth, heat, and a beautiful aroma to any dish: dumplings, soups, breads, cheeses… and especially when you mix it with butter and spread it over chicken before baking. Yum.
